Introduction

Before taking any competitive exam you should be crystal clear about each and every aspect of the exam. Hard work plus smart work will make you're dream come true .You're vision and mission must be clear. So here is the preparation strategy for the candidates who are willing to take this examination this year.

Who will conduct the examination?

NTA (National Testing Agency) is the conducting body of DU JAT. So NTA is going to conduct the most coveted entrance exams of Delhi University i.e. JAT (Joint Admission Test) this year.

As per notification released the online registration for DU JAT will starts tentatively from June 8 (10 am). The eligible candidates can apply for DU JAT on the official website of the Delhi University i.e. https://www.du.ac.in/du/uploads/COVID-19/.

The students who are interested to pursue there career in the field of Bachelor of Management Studies/Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis)/ B.A (Hons) Business Economics can apply for Joint admission test.

Exam Pattern

The exam comprises of 4 sections that are

· Quantitative Ability

· General English

· Reasoning And Analytical Ability

· Business And General Awareness

 

SUBJECT NUMBER OF QUESTIONS MARKS

Quantitative Ability 25 100

General English 25 100

Reasoning And Analytical Ability 25 100

Business And General Awareness 25 100

Total 100 400

 

Mode: Computer Based Test

Test will be online mode.

Type: Objective Type Paper

You will be provided with the multiple choices of answers in each question but you have to select the one which is correct in order to obtain full mark.

Time: Candidates will be allotted 2 hours of time.

You're exam session will automatically exhaust after 2 hours of the start of you're exam and you will no longer be able to attempt any question after that.

So the candidates who are giving there first computer based exam needs to be very careful.

Marking Scheme: Each question carries 4 marks.

You will be marked negative if you commit a wrong attempt.

 

Beware: Yes their is a NEGATIVE MARKING in this examination so be careful, you must be 100% sure before making any attempt.

The plus point here is that you have enough time.

Their is only one formula that leads to you're selection i.e.

Success = Speed + Accuracy

The plus point here is that you have enough time and for a well prepared candidate it will be a cakewalk.

Last Minute Tips

· The first and foremost thing you should keep in mind while attempting online exam is keep an eye on you're speed.

· First attempt the section you are good at as this will save you're time for tougher section.

· Practice previous years question papers this will boost up you're confidence level.

· Avoid Guess –Work as this lead to negative marking and can severely affect you're score.
