Impacts of Favoritism on the children !!

Okay! So your elder daughter is much better than your younger daughter in every thing whether it's about study, sports or any other extra curriculum activity, so she is your favorite. On the other hand your younger daughter is just average in everything. That's why you love your elder daughter more than the younger one. Right? And you always use to appreciate your elder daughter and always taunt the younger one that she must have to learn something from her sister. Have you ever thought that what would be its impact on her? Yeah! Never. 

So let us see what would be the impacts of favoritism, done by parents between their children:-

1. Depression

2. Hostility

3. Offensive behavior

4. Degression in academics

5. Toxic relationship

Depression

Every time it is not necessary that comparison brings motivation, sometimes it bring another things. So let me tell you, if you are comparing your favorite child with the average one, its not going to motivate your child, but somewhat it will effect him/ her in negative way, making him depress or sad instead. In future he/she might think to ran away from house or will try to end his/her embarrassing life somehow.

Hostility

If you think that your unfair and partial behavior is going to improve your child, and often you leave the average one alone. Then you might have to think twice before doing this. Because your this type of behavior will make your child more hostile and antisocial.

Offensive Behavior

Okay! So you constlanty avoid your average child because you feel embarrassed with his marks or poor performance and sometimes used to scold him even in front of anyone, never forget to appreciate your favorite child.  This will leads to cause anger and aggressiveness in the behavior of your average minded poor child, which will make the condition even worse. 

Degression in academics

Your unfair behavior between your children, will put your average child in more dilemma. He/ she will lose his interest from studies either, which will make the condition even worse.

Toxic Relationship

Treating two children, in two different ways, at the same place, will not only weaken your relation with your child but also it will increase pique between your children too.

Try to avoid these unfair things between your own kids, otherwise you won't be able to recover from the loss that you will face in future because of such type of behavior.
