India stands in second place for the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the world following USA. The first case in India was identified on 30th Jan 2020 in Kerala. Following the outbreak the country enforced quarantine from March 24th 2020.
The lockdown rules has been eased from September and the state governments can take decision regarding it if necessary. The research on development of vaccine for treating corona virus is being conducted by many institutes like Serum Institute of India.
