Any mode of education, if it is to fulfill its purpose, clearly has two functions: to preserve and to accommodate for change. It must save those values, beliefs, practices, rites, customs, and information that make the long-term survival of society possible. Its purpose is to guide our esteem, improve accelerated thought, concede permission for creed practices, dig out opportunities to question what exists, and contribute to the growth of the human society. Of course, humans are full of prejudices by type, but one can regulate them through decent education.
