83 is an up and coming Indian games show movie coordinated by Kabir Khan and together created by Khan, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Deepika Padukone and Sajid Nadiadwala. Co-distributed by Reliance Entertainment, the film stars Ranveer Singh as cricketer Kapil Dev, alongside Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya, Sahil Khattar and Amrita Puri.

In the primary seven day stretch of April 2019 at a camp at Dharamshala Cricket Stadium, the cast prepared at cricket with previous cricketers Balwinder Sandhu and Yashpal Sharma. Singh was taking in the game from Dev before the beginning of shooting in June

In September 2017, Reliance Entertainment and Vibri Media facilitated an occasion to declare the film with the group that had won the 1983 World Cup. The shooting started on 5 June 2019 in England. Despite the fact that it was booked for release on 10 April 2020, the release has been deferred due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The film is presently planned to be delivered on Christmas 2020
