Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a type of psychological and behavioural disorder, in which the affected individual lost his/her ability to think and behave properly. This disorder disturbs the normal functioning of brain, that leads to cause disturbance in the senses of the particular individual. It is an incurable/ chronic disorder.

Occurence:- Males are at higher risk to develop this disorder as compared to the females. About one million people every year, are diagnosed with the same, in the populated countries like India and China.

Causes:- There are many causes that gives rise to such disorders. As per the experts, a combination of physical, chemical, environmental and emotional disturbance are responsible for this. Physical in the sense like an accident or an injury, chemical disturbance like side effects of medication or toxins, emotional mean trauma or a sudden shock,etc.
