Audemars Piguet presents for the first time a limited edition of the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar completely in titanium, made exclusively for the Chinese market. The edition, limited to 88 pieces (8 is traditionally the lucky number in China) was created to celebrate the strong bond that unites the Manufacture of Le Brassus with Middle-earth. The Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar China Limited Edition 41 mm features a case and bracelet in very light hand-finished titanium with an alternation of satin and brushed surfaces. Following the tradition of this model, the dial is decorated in Grande Tapisserie and in slate gray; the sectors indicating the calendar are black with white indexes, writings and numbers to offer greater contrast. The background of the flange used to mark the current week with a red hand is also of the same color, a color that has always been a symbol of happiness and passion for the Chinese.

This limited edition Royal Oak, created in collaboration with great collector Austen Chu and featured on instagram with the @horoloupe profile, is powered by the in-house self-winding AP 5134 caliber.
