Today due to covid 19 many colleges and institutes are asking students to give online exams. But the question arises is, whether giving online exams is a good option? Today there is alot of uncertainty in the world and also in the education system. Nobody knows where is this going to lead us all.

Many renowned Universities and institutes are pressurising students to give exams. The students have no option. This online exam has affected the last year students the most. Many problems are been faced by the students which has created an environment which is full of stress.

Problems faced by students due to online exams:

Internet connection

The internet providers are not really good in our country. The speed of the internet is not upto the mark. The quality of internet connection is deteriorating in this pandemic situation. People who can afford internet are not getting good internet to give exams. There are many students who can't afford internet. Many are struggling for their basic needs to be fulfilled. In this situation is it right to ask students to give exams. A bright student who has no proper internet connection can get a bad grades. This system will tamper his or her future.

Devices for exams

If somebody has to give an exam with the help of internet then he or she has to have a device like a mobile or a laptop or a tab. But the question here is if there are 3 or more children in a house who gets the device? If two of them have exams at the same time who will give the exam . In a middle class family everyone has one laptop or computer. There will be many students who can't give exams due to this situation. In families where there are no devices available the student won't be able to give exam. This will create an environment where students would be under immense pressure. Which is not good for their health.

In a situation like this where nobody is safe , people are struggling to are not able to fulfill their basic needs it is not right for the authorities to pressurise students. Students are the future of India. If their education is not done properly then things won't turn out good later.

In this situation everyone should help each other. Institutions should not give stress to students. In online exams there are high chances of cheating as well. Many questions can be found on the internet. It is not right that the students who don't study to get good marks. This whole system has many flaws.There should find alternatives for it. So that no student will feel injustice.
