Thankfully, thanks to all of the guides and online resources now available WoTLK Gold, players are much more ready for the attunements to be made in 2021 than they were back in 2007. A large portion of the quests involved with the process may be initiated prior to reaching level 70 as well, meaning many of the game's most experienced players have completed all the necessary steps prior to the release of the raids over two weeks.

There are certain aspects of the attunement procedure that are able to be skipped by certain professions or classes or even if only one person in the group has already completed the steps to get certain keys. Attunement requirements, such as reputation gates, can become easier in later levels of the game as well. But even taking those facts into account, the whole procedure can be overwhelming, and more than some players have abandoned the game long before moving into the second phase of content.

The second phase of Burning Crusade Classic will begin in the same time that Blizzard plans to launch new servers in WoW Classic as well as bring significant quality-of-life improvements to Shadowlands with the expansion's next update. It's also happening at an era when Blizzard is still dealing with the aftermath from an unrelated lawsuit filed by the state of California lawsuit that claims that the company has a long history of harassment and discrimination against women. The lawsuit resulted in the deportation of a number of Blizzard veterans including former vice president J. Allen Brack, former lead level designer Jesse McCree, WOW WoTLK Classic Gold and former World of Warcraft game director Luis Barriga.
