The production of the mystery teen drama web television series, The Society recently announced to come up with a Season 2 by late 2020 which has left the fans enthused after being overwrought watching the final episode of Season 1 which ends with a scene finally showing the missing teens’ parents and siblings in the actual world and gradually drew the attention of the viewers to a board that quoted, `We remember them’ with names of all the missing teens who in the viewer’s knowledge were in a parallel world namely New Ham which was a very convincing lookalike of the place they grew up in.
So far for Season 2, the cast will be returning with;
Kathryn Newton, Jacques Colimon, Toby Wallace, Gideon Adlon, Sean Berdy, Alex Fitzalan, Kristine Froseth, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Olivia DeJonge, José Julián, Salena Qureshi, Alex MacNicoll, Jack Mulhern, Spencer House, Emilio Garcia-Sanchez, Grace Victoria
About Cassandra (Rachel Keller) and Greg Dewey (Seth Meriwether), they probably won't be returning as the former was shot dead and the latter was executed for being charged with murder but who knows what can happen in a parallel world, right?
The fans have been curiously waiting to be answered about where did the smell come from, how did they end up in an alternative reality, did the graffiti on the wall which Grizz noticed before leaving for the trip have any connection with the current situation, will the missing teens ever be able to get back, the mystery behind Becca's baby and many more... Well, the answers to these are totally in the air which makes a second season irresistible.
With Campbell, Harry, and Lexie taking control of the town and Will and Allie being under house arrest things got complicated.
"Obviously I wanted Allie to be in power, but you know I learned a lot from Allie... I mean the way she's all-knowing all of a sudden. She's gonna let them come to her, I think. That's what I think!", said Kathryn Newton (Allie).
Also with Grizz and his group returning after being successful at their expedition by discovering that fishing was possible and vast farming land, then Grizz having a sense of dirty politics being played by the reckless trio, brings up a hope that he will be fighting for Allie. "I think Grizz is good," Colimon(Will) said.
Showrunner Keyser said on Metro: "We don't have it all worked out, but we have lots of ideas of where we want to go. We're on our own personal cliffhanger right now. We also have an end in mind, we know where we want to go to."
