This article talks about living in the countryside

Don't you sometimes wish you lived in a place that is a little less noisy, a little less polluted, a little less populated, a little less stressful and a lot more serene? I do, too. And if all goes well I would love to go settle in the countryside and live to watch every sunrise and sunset peacefully.

Though this sounds like the ideal life, it does come with some pros and cons. So, if you're planning to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life then you have to keep these in mind :

Pros

  • Affordablility : Living in the countryside costs you much lesser than living in the city, both land and lifestyle comes inexpensive in the countryside. In the countrysides, you can buy a lovely property for what would cost you a small studio apartment in your city. This is one of the main reasons people prefer living in the countryside.
  • Improved health : Imagine waking up every morning and breathing fresh, crisp air free of pollutants. Now if that is the life you're dreaming about, time to move to the countryside! The benefits of living in the countryside is endless. Countryside is all about slow, peaceful living. You can also grow your own fruits and vegetables, maybe even consider organic farming.
  • Less stressful : spending time with nature will melt your stress away. You can enjoy every moment and live free of stress and be inspired with all the nature around you. Country living also means reduced travel time which will spare you a lot more time which you can spend with your family.
  • More space : if you live in the countryside, you'll have lots of space to live. You can build that art studio you always wanted or even a barn. You'll even have plenty of space to raise your own animals!
  • Scenery : living in teh countyside, you will have a great view of the beautiful mountains, river-crossings, lakes etc. right at your doorstep!

Cons

  • Fewer job opportunities : since the population in the countryside is comparitively lesser than in the cities, there are limited employment opportunities.
  • Limited healthcare facilities : the healthcare facilities are not as conveniently available in rural areas.
  • Sometimes dangerous : since you live so close to nature, you will have to beware of the wildlife that is found nearby and also iof insects, bugs, floods and other natural disasters.

So, ensure to weigh the pros and cons before deciding if the country life is for you.
