Declined price of digital production methods have helped creation of several products than purchasers. The YouTube revolutionised film distribution has changed way consumers watch films and television as impact of online distribution has had impact on the film industry. Directing and acting at the same time can be biggest challenge. The majority of independent filmmakers would agree that most difficult task is raising money to pay for the production. Nowadays we can see sequels and remakes of stories which shows that industry has reached point of fatigue in which lack of idea is common denominator.
Lack of budget can make people assume several roles in order for a film to be produced at lowest cost possible. The role of social media in film packages has become essential which is why it is necessary to adopt social media strategy to evaluate what is making an impact. There has been need to internalize that filmmaking goes above working hard and having luck which needs commitment and love!
