This article revolves around explaining the process of publishing your work for the world to review your perspective of life among various other things.

The art of letting words absorb the essence of your core and design its own painting to capture the intricacies of a moment has been prevalent since before we could measure time. Today, there are innumerable writers emerging from every corner of the world, carrying with them an extraordinary perspective. However, with the world online pacing ahead at an unstoppable wheel, writers are inflicted with storms in their path to success and recognition.

Publishing your work for the world to see is an intensively appreciated gesture towards making yourself seen. Many people however, are oblivious of the process.

As writers, we find ourselves soaked in the world of writing, generating poems after poems as if knit into a loop of words. As a writer myself, I started painting my feelings onto paper at the age of 13. By the end of 12th grade, every page in my vicinity had a new poem on it. It was later that year that I overcame the many challenges and decided to publish my work for the world to see in the form of the book Kalopsia.

Publishing the book could not blanket me from the challenges ahead, but the positive response was a catalyst to my confidence. The ideal way to get published is to approach publishing houses and discuss your work with them. For me, it was Notion Press. You can approach them or choose from a bunch of others-

  1. White Falcon
  2. Blue Rose Publishers
  3. Book Bazooka

For me, the plans put forward by Notion Press were well suited and convenient. Once you approach the publishing house, there will be follow-up mails and phone calls. They will conduct a telephonic interview to understand you as a writer and your content. Proceeding this, the process gets simpler, with the poc from the company supporting you every step of the way. Once the process is complete, your work is out there for the world to see it!

Publishing your work is instilled with courage. Kudos to those who want to engage in it!
