We all have that sweet memory of our childhood when our parents bought us our first bicycle, of our first fall and of the time when we used to ride it like a pro. But we lost this passion of ours through the years as work and busy schedule took over. We had less time for such stuff until the coronavirus came and gave us all the time in the world. By sitting at home people realised how much efforts and motivation they need to get fit and how important it is. Many adopted the concept of home gyms or bodyweight training and the others took a road back to their childhood they took cycling.
This pandemic has taught us to do things that we love the most because life is unpredictable, it has also taught us that how much important it is to stay fit to keep our immunity strong. The better the immunity the more are your chances to beat any disease, but in this hassled life where everybody is running in a race people don't have time to look after their fitness or health and hence are more prone to diseases, not only the schedule but the food and living habits, pollution and bad water has made it difficult for the immunity to fight. As gyms were closed and people have to find a solution to be fit and to control their growing belly fat they found bicycles as one solution to their all the problems, as the bicycle is not only one of the best way to stay fit but they also allow us to maintain the social distance.
Many celebrities have also adopted the trend and are posting about their cycling journey motivating others as well, the sales of bicycles have also grown drastically as the people who did not have it are now buying and on the brighter side buying a bicycle does not hurt your pocket. In fact, many have chosen bicycles over any other vehicle to commute for many reasons. Many electric bicycles have also been launched to make the cycling experience great recently Hero has launched its range of electric bicycles which are taking over the market, these bicycles are enabled with an electric motor which on running the throttle turns your cycle into an E-bike, these are cool, trendy and attractive bicycles.
People are cycling many kilometres to burn calories and the distance they carry can be seen in the social media stories that people post on a regular basis. The social media is also responsible for bringing back the king of the roads our bicycles once again in our lives, social media is a place where trends start and take over the world people who were enjoying the cycling journey have also motivated others to take it.
It is only about priorities as we always have time to do the things that we love, it makes me very happy to see people paddling again with their friends and loved ones, to see them finding an easy and affordable way to stay fit. We should remember that in this race of striving we should never stop living.
