Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli are expecting their first child and their huge announcement has sent the Internet into a frenzy! Within minutes after the couple shared the news on social media, Virat Kohli had posted on Instagram, “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021”. Anushka has also shared the same post on her Instagram page. 

Congratulatory messages started pouring in for the parents-to-be from Priyanka Chopra to Taapsee Pannu, Bollywood celebrities thronged the post with congratulatory wishes. Virat Kohli is currently in UAE. He has left to participate in IPL 2020. The Indian cricket captain is in quarantine, ahead of the Indian Premier League. The likes of film stars such as Priyanka Chopra, Taapsee Pannu, Alia Bhatt, Preity Zinta, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kriti Sanon, Karishma Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan, Parineeti Chopra, Vaani Kapoor, Diana Penty, Mouni Roy, tennis player Sania Mirza and cricketer KL Rahul.

This is the second pregnancy announcement this month. Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan had confirmed on August 12 that they are expecting their second baby.

The lovely couple tied the knot in December 2017 and recently confirmed that they are in the family way. The couple will be expecting their first child in January 2021, so it seems that Anushka is about 4 months pregnant. While Virat is currently is in Dubai for IPL 2020, he took to Instagram and Twitter to announce this great news and so did Anushka. The pregnancy news has surely made their fans happy and excited amidst the gloomy pandemic. As soon as the couple took to twitter to announce the news, an amalgamation of their names "Virushka" started trending right after.

Anushka looked radiant and surely had the pregnancy glow in a photo shared by the couple. The 32-year-old actress is seen flaunting her baby bump in a black, polka-dot dress by LA-based label Nicholas. Anushka picked a black dress featuring white polka dots. The crepe dress featured full sleeves with a ruffle-detailing at the wrist.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli first met on the sets of a commercial and dated for four years before getting married in a private ceremony in Italy in 2017.  The pregnancy announcement post got 15.3 million likes on Instagram in just 24 hours, thus becoming the most liked celebratory post on social media.
