It is a gorgeous village located in the city of Genoa, Italy. It is known for its scenic beauty and colorful houses. The deep blue-green color of the ocean will captivate you immediately and make you fall in love with the place instantly. 

When you are in Italy, binging on pasta and pizza is a must. So, try the dish Genoa is famous for 'Pesto Pasta', that's right! made with fresh ingredients ground up in a mortar and pestle. The way Genovese like it. Also, try the classic cheese focaccia in Portofino.

2. Rovaniemi, Finland

An hour and a half flight from Finland's capital Helsinki, we reach Rovaniemi. Now, it might be famous for Santa Clause village but it has a lot more to offer. If you choose to spend your honeymoon there, then you can have a romantic time watching the Aurora from an Arctic Glass Igloo at night.

The next day, spend some time together barbequing in the middle of the forest. There is nothing cozier than roasting marshmallows together in the cold. Also, most of the cottages available in Rovaniemi have their in built sauna, so better make the most of it.

If your honeymoon is during the winters, go to Rovaniemi! Highly recommend it!!

3. Nice, France

Honestly, if you are going to Paris for your honeymoon, do yourself a favor and go to Nice as well!

Just the thought of walking hand in hand along the beautiful coastlines of the french riviera is making us swoon. C'mon now, amazing weather, delicious food, and beautiful beaches. This is the perfect concoction for you to have the most relaxing and healing experience on your honeymoon, together as a couple. 

In Nice, you will feel the love in the air. A must visit!

4. Paros, Greece

Yes! you heard it right, not Mykonos, not Santorini but Paros. Paros is a lovely island in Greece with an exciting nightlife. so, if you love to party and unwind, this could be the place for you to spend your honeymoon.

It is not very crowded so it's perfect for the two of you! if you are on the adventurous side and want to have fun together then try some watersports, Paros is famous for windsurfing. 

Just make sure to pack suntan lotion and be ready to scarf down infinite bowls of greek salad.

5. Hallstatt, Austria

It may be famous as a touristy place but do not underestimate it as a romantic destination. it is a small scenic village in Austria.

I would highly recommend you to visit there with your partner and enjoy walking down the charming little streets, have some pastries and schnitzel in a local cafe. Take the swan-shaped pedal boat out in the lake and enjoy the peaceful and serene time together. According to us, the best time to visit is during the summer.
