Talking about nepotism and it's impacts.

NEPOTISM:- A Growing Threat

"If you choose an unfit person for your job, just because you love and like that person then he will lead you to endless follies."- Thiruvalluvar

I think everyone is familiar with this word, Nepotism. We are able to see it clearly in our society. And if you are a up to date person then, I'm sure you are familiar with what's going on television right now. Yeah! You get it right.

Basically, Nepotism has been arrived with an Italian word Nepotismo which was originated from Latin root nepos means nephew. It was observed in 17th century clearly. But I think it was here from ancient times, like a son of king is always going to be a king or only the persons from royal families posses the quality of being a king, etc etc. At that time no common man was able to rise his/her voice against the dynasty. So it was here from thousands of years ago.

Okay, so let us assume, a person is working with xyz company, later he got a better position. And now whenever there is any vacant place in his company, he will definitely prefer one of his family members or friends or any other acquaintances rather than those people who are much more talented than them and have applied for the same position. Now have you ever thought that what will be it's impact on those talented peoples? They might thought that the fault is present in themselves and they are not able to do anything in life, which leads to make them depressed. And now how it is affecting  the company? The company is losing much better employees, which leads in decreasing the reputation of the company among it's employees and also in the market, if anyone came to know about such un fairs things happening in that particular company.

So what's the point here? The point is that those who are extremely talented are constantly been avoided due to this problem of Nepotism. There is a general saying that hard work wants reward. So if a person is working very hard for the company but the promotion goes to the one who is boss's favorite instead of him, then what will be it's impact? The person might lose interest from work and even think to leave that particular job.

I am not saying that at every place it is wrong, like a few people think that "Trust is much more above than Talent". That's okay! I mean if the particular relative or whoever have the talent too, then it's totally fine. But neglecting someone more suitable just because of the relation or friendship, then that's not fair.

Earlier no one was noticing this partiality at any organization or institution. But now people are so much aware about these unfair things happening in their surroundings. So before doing this everyone have to think twice that what will be it's impact.??
