Nepotism In Bollywood

Whenever there is any conversation about nepotism and favoritism like things, everyone initiates the conversation with Bollywood. Bollywood is like a role model for the nepotism and favoritism. Not from a year or two, nepotism is in Bollywood from 3 or 4 decades, right? But previously, the actor who got such  opportunities because of nepotism, were able to prove themselves on screen.

The topic of nepotism in Bollywood came in limelight when Kangana Ranaut, (bollywood actress) called Karan Johar (Indian film director) as a flag bearer of nepotism in his own show, Koffee with Karan. When this episode was launched, there were lot of controversies created. Kangana, who is known for her solid and clear opinions, was once again the topic of the evening's talk for B- town. This happens back in 2017.

After a few month or about a year, everyone forgot about that episode. But later in June 2020, after the suicide of Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, the topic was again highlighted. And this time as a big social issue. 

Bollywood is now seems to be like only for the star kids and no outsiders are allowed to enter. And if by chance someone enters, whole nepotistic community of Bollywood tries to spoil his/her career and break him. You have talent, doesn't matter. You have skills, doesn't matter. But your father is an actor or was an actor, matters. Your father is a director or producer, matter. Only if you have a God father in industry, you are going to get a movie or a role. 

On one side, where the nepotism is completely engulfing  the whole Bollywood and killing talent, on the other side there are also some great actors who came to industry by nepotism but have proved their skills on screen. 

Here are few actors and actresses, who are good example of nepotism:- 

1. Aamir Khan

2. Hrithik Roshan  

3. Farhan Akhtar

4. Alia Bhatt

5. Sara Ali Khan

So these are those actors and actresses who got the chance to perform because of nepotism. But they have also proved their eligibility for the particular opportunity by showing their talent and skills. 

Okay! So you know what, positive and negative are the two faces of a coin. If something is good, then it is must that something bad is also there. 

Few actors amd actresses who have proved that they literally did not deserve that golden opportunity which was provided to them.

4. Suraj Pancholi

5. Ananya Pandey

So this is the reality of Bollywood. Now with the suicide of Sushant, once again a lot of people are now boycotting the movies of these star kids. Currently, the case of SSR is in CBI's hand, and hope so that truth will find it's path.
